The Lobster Pot Cookbook really is a great guide to seafood cooking and so much more. I found recipes for everything from appetizers to desserts and there are even sections on the basics like how to make stocks for cooking. The best thing about it, besides all the tasty recipes, is that it is written in a simple style that makes it easy for anybody to make the dishes.
Another thing is that the book has a bit about Cape Cod history and the history of Provincetown, MA where the author is the Executive Chef of a very successful restaurant. It makes a great souvenir too because there are so many beautiful pictures of the food but also Cape Cod in general.

This is a spectacular cookbook. I gave it to my mother as a gift and she loves it. Good choice.
This is the sequel to the original P-Town's Lobsterpot cookbook. I bought both the original and this copy. Many of the entree's are repeated. Some of the appetizers, desserts etc. are dropped and others added in their place. Still a great cookbook for seafood. FYI The stuffed clams are to die for and in this cookbook as well as the original.

What is not to love here! These are time tested recipies from a favorite Cape Cod restaurant in Provincetown MA. This makes a fabulous gift for anyone who has ever dined there. It is also a wonderful book of recipes all on its own. I hope you can have a taste of Cape Cod dinning and share it with family and friends. This one is a keeper.
