Ally's blog on Yogi's Anonymous helped me through one of the most painful periods of my life. Her no-nonsense, practical, loving take on all aspects of life was exactly what I need to "hear" every time I read one of her posts. I've been looking forward to this book for quite awhile. Thank you, Ally, for all that you do!
The book that I have been waiting for! I am intimately familiar with the content of this book as I have been a reader of Ally's blog from the beginning. As a therapist there are jewels in every paragraph that I am so excited to be able to share with my clients. I can pull this book out during those teachable moments to drive the concept home. A must buy for anyone who is interested in deepening self awareness.
I'm buying the book right now, right after I've learned of it's existence. I've taken Ally's classes in LA for years, and now enjoy her streaming classes as I'm no longer in the LA area. I've followed her blog since it's beginning and cannot say enough about her honesty, vulnerability, authenticity, and the tremendous wisdom she shares from her perfectly imperfect, non-linear journey. She is so real. She is so open. She is so honest. Both as a yoga teacher and as a writer she has taught me to wrap my arms around ALL the pieces of my life, and let the 'gifts' of learning and discovery reveal themselves, and honor them. Ally, you are my 'genie in a bottle' (I swear that came to mind as I'm writing this, so I'm following intuition to share it). So much gratitude to you, and congrats for receiving an even broader vehicle to share your gifts!

So many times, I've been stuck with some life thing and have literally "open(ed) randomly" and found a gem to soothe my soul. Synchronicity at its best. Insightful and relevant, Ally's words help bring a peaceful shift in my perception of life.
My yoga teacher read a quote from this book in class and I knew I had to learn more! Love this gem of a book with pages of wisdom -- you really can opened it randomly settle in to some open-hearted goodness!
The words come from the deepest place of truth. Ally has a way of defining any aspect of life in a way that will leave you feeling courageous, hopefull and free. I started reading allys blog a couple years ago. Immediately after the first blog I was hooked! Ive read every blog since. Its as important to my daily routine as brushing my teeth or eating a meal. Im able to somehow relate to some part or all of what she has to say. She has been a gift in my life as she has in so many others. I am certain there is no way to read her words without being inspired!
